If you’re looking for a Maui wedding with a touch of Hawaiian flare, then take a look at our Island Tradition Package!

The Island tradition package comes with authentic dressed Male & female torch bearers/ hula dancers, Hawaiian guitarist & a drummer and flower circle to set the mood on your romantic beach location.

The ceremony begins with the blowing of the conch shell from the drummer to signal the lighting of the torches.  The male & female torch bearers begin the processional, walking in to the beating of the drum, followed by the bridal party.  Once the bridal party is in place another 3 blows of the conch shell are followed by the Hawaiian guitarist for the bride to make her way down the aisle and to join the groom in the circle of flowers.

The Hawaiian Officiate will offer a Hawaiian chant & blessing to begin the ceremony. The significance of the Leis in Hawaii is explained and the groom will place the bride’s lei around her neck, followed by a kiss and then the act is repeated with the bride giving the groom his lei & kiss.

After the traditional blessing & exchanging of rings, the female hula dancer performs the Hawaiian wedding song hula, accompanied by the guitarist.

Once the bride & groom have been announced as Husband & wife, both the male & female dancers perform the traditional celebration dance for the couple.

Our beautiful Ukraine & Scottish wedding!

We were thrilled to assist our bride, Natasha, originally from the Ukraine and her finance, Nick, from Scotland in making their destination wedding dream come true!  They envisioned a remote, unique location to WOW their guests and found it at the Keali’I Nui Botanical Gardens in Haiku, Maui.  Situated above the breathtaking cliffs of the North Shore, the garden offers dramatic views of the ocean below and even has a small waterfall!

Rev. Brito Officiated for the beautiful ceremony, even adding some elements of the Ukraine culture.  The bride’s Mother made a traditional Ukraine bread, which is cut by the bride and groom during the ceremony, then each guests is invited up after the ceremony  for a piece which signifies a blessing for the couple.

The couple’s two beautiful boys were dressed in the Authentic Ukraine dress shirt and a traditional Scottish Kilt, they were absolutely adorable!

After the ceremony and family photos by Hula Girl Photography, everyone gathered in the pavilion for a champagne toast and appetizers before heading off to enjoy The Old Lahaina Luau.

Thank you Nick & Natasha for choosing me to be a part of your special day, what a wonderful family you have!

The Mana Kai Lawn located in South Maui offers a wonderful alternative to couples looking to have their wedding on a lawn overlooking the ocean, but not wanting to commit to the expense of renting a private estate.

This beautiful and affordable location features a manicured lawn that allows personalized wedding décor and seating for the comfort of your guests.  Due to State laws, this is not an option when planning a beach wedding.  The Mana Kai Lawn offers an incredible view from the ceremony site, with the Islands of Molokini and Kahoolawe  in the distance. A beautiful beach is just foot steps away and is perfect for large group shots, as well as intimate sunset photos.

There are several reception options available that can accommodate any budget, please inquire and we would be happy to provide you with additional information on this wedding and reception location!
