Romantic under the stars reception at the Kukahiko estate

Elijah & Halee choose the beautiful, Ocean front Kukahiko estate in Makena for their intimate ceremony & romantic reception to celebrate with their closest family & friends.  The Kukahiko estate is one of our favorite venues on Maui and perfect for groups of 40 and under looking for a stunning & private location.

The couple rented a roadster and a first look was planned with photographer, Juan, from www.limnedlight.com  in Makena along the ocean.  I love the look on Elijah’s face when he glimpsed his beautiful bride to be for the first time!  The couple was able to share a few minutes of alone time before driving together to the Kukahiko estate to freshen up prior to the wedding ceremony.

Pastor Valentine Rosette performed a wonderful ceremony, the sound of the waves crashing behind the couple as they recited their personalized wedding vows, exchanged rings and kisses.  The couple exited to a rose petal toss and were soon joined by their family & friends to congratulate them!

The guests enjoyed appetizers from Café O’ Lei and cocktails from Aloha Bars while the couple finished their bridal portraits out on the lava rock point.  At sunset the couple returned and did cake cutting & first dance with the twinkle lit trees as their back drop followed by a romantic dinner under the stars.

At the end of the evening, the newlyweds were sent off biodegradable, confetti canisters as made their way to the awaiting roadster and their honeymoon!

Mahalo to our sweet couple, we loved being a part of their special day!  If your looking for a romantic location for your Maui wedding & reception, let us know we have venues for every group size and budget!

Meant to be moments at Gannon’s in Wailea

Madeline & Scott were an adorable couple that we loved planning with!  We got the opportunity to meet with the couple 6 months prior to their wedding date to view the wedding venue at Gannon’s wedding knoll and go over all the details.

Madeline looked absolutely stunning on her special day!  The talented Gaylin, owner of Maui Photographer (desertseaphotography.com)  captured pre wedding photos of the bridal party and element shots at the hotel, then first look photos on the Gold golf course.   The couples reactions were so moving and they enjoyed some time together prior to starting the ceremony.

Madeline’s brother preformed a heartfelt ceremony with love, laughter and a few tears.  After the group & family photos, the guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the lower lawn with it’s beautiful ocean view.  The bride & groom were whisked away to the beach for some sunset & bridal photos.

The couple was blessed with one of the most stunning sunsets, as they danced their first dance, as husband & wife!  After dinner the dance floor opened to the epic tunes from www.mauiweddingdj.com

It was so nice to a part of Madeline & Scott’s special day and their amazing group of family and friends!  Mahalo for choosing us as your Maui Wedding Coordinator!

Intimate Union at the Kukahiko Estate

Colin & Morgan had their dream wedding at the beautiful, ocean front Kukahiko estate located in Makena, Maui!  Their intimate ceremony performed by the wonderful Rev. Charles Nahale, included a handful of their closest family and friends, as they exchanged vows, rings and kisses.

After the ceremony, family & bridal portraits took place besides the crashing waves and breathtaking views of the Kukahiko estate and Maui treated them to the most gorgeous sunset!   A sparkler farewell was a beautiful send off for the newlyweds, as they headed to their reception at Gannon’s lower pond.

Mahalo to Mr. & Mrs. Valenti for choosing A Perfect Paradise Wedding as your Maui wedding coordinator, we loved sharing your special day!

YOUR STILL THE ONE!

Mandie & Daryl celebrated their 20 year wedding anniversary with a beautiful vow renewal at Kapalua Bay beach on Maui.  Pastor Kimo officiated the touching ceremony, as the two exchanged vows, rings, leis and lots of kisses!

Kapalua Bay beach is my favorite beach on the West side of Maui for wedding & vow renewal ceremonies because of all the wonderful photography options.  A stunning beach, cliffs, palm trees and lava rocks give a lot of diversity to the background.  I just love Mandie & Daryl’s stunning photos captured by the talented photographers from White Lotus!

DREAMS DO COME TRUE!

Kelly and Dustin dreamed of an intimate destination wedding on Maui and fell in love with the Olowalu Plantation House.  The Olowalu Plantation House offers so many spectacular back drops for photos, from an ocean view, a coconut grove and lush tropical landscape.  It’s hard not to be impressed with all of the plantation houses charm & beauty!

When Maui was closed to travel at the end of March 2020, no one had any idea for how long or what the new travel restrictions would be.  We were told that in August Hawaii would open to travelers again with pre-testing, but that was quickly reversed.  It was quite the emotional roller coaster ride for anyone planning a destination wedding.  Do we wait and see if the island opens?  Do we move our date?  What will the travel restrictions be?!  So much uncertainty!!!

As the October wedding date quickly approached and still there was no official word or solid reopening plan, we began to lose hope.  Discussions were had about postponing or canceling the long dreamed of Maui wedding.  Whispers of a big announcement started circulating and I urged the couple to give it just a few more days before making their final choice.   Finally a decision was made that the official opening date of Hawaii would be October 15, 2020 with pre-travel testing!

Kelly & Dustin flew to Maui on the first day of the re-opening and although there were long lines and some kinks to work out in the travel plan, they made it to Hawaii with a small group of their family and friends.

The wedding day was beautiful, all of the couples careful planning & eye to details came together perfectly.  Stunning florals from Maui Palm Tree Floral on Gold risers accented the amazing view,  Dimitri and Sandra  photography captured the day to perfection, allowing us to feel the feel the love of this special couple and incredible day!

Thank you Kelly & Dustin for choosing A Perfect Paradise Wedding to be apart of your special day!!! It was amazing and a day I will never forget!
