Aloha & Beauty at The Olowalu Plantation House

I have to admit, I’ve had a bit of writers block with all that is going on in the world!  I realized I needed a really fun wedding to reflect back on to help get me out of my slump!  Calie & Marc’s August wedding immediately came to mind, our adorable Canadian & Australian couple emanated love & fun! 

Calie & Marc chose Maui as the perfect destination location for their friends & family to gather from all around the world to celebrate their union and they fell in love with the Olowalu Plantation House for all of its natural beauty!

It was very important to Calie & Marc that the wedding & reception be special and most importantly a fun celebration for all!  They incorporated fun & personal touches into every element of their special day, from a silly prop guest book station, wedding vows, wedding décor  and my favorite their choreographed   first dance!    Paired with a delicious menu from Café O’ Lei and cocktails flowing from Maui Bars R Us and you’ve got the recipe for an amazing & memorable event! 

The radiating love & gratitude for all that were there to witness their special day was felt in the never ending smiles from our bride & groom!  We feel so honored to have been a part of Calie & Marc’s dream wedding and wish them an incredible journey as husband & wife!

Intimate wedding at Merriman’s Kapalua

Perla & Fernando were looking for an affordable wedding venue that offered an ocean view on the West side of Maui and fell in love with Merriman’s.  The perfect location for groups 50 & under, Merriman’s grassy lawn is located on the cliff’s edge over looking Molokai and beautiful Kapalua Bay. 

After an intimate ceremony with the couples closest family & friends, which included their son in a lei ceremony and exchanging of vows, Perla & Fern enjoyed some time getting  incredible bridal portraits.  We love that there are so many different backdrops available in one location!  Located just below the ceremony venue is a secluded lava rock jetta that offers dramatic views of Molokai in the distance.  Kapalua Bay beach offers a beautiful sunset all year long and is one of our favorite spots on the West side of Maui!

Sunset Romance at the Makena Cove, Maui!

Ashley & Stephen were looking for the ultimate, romantic sunset setting for their elopement to Maui! Traveling from Indiana, they wanted an intimate setting with postcard perfect views for their photos to share with friends and family.

Makena Cove beach is our favorite for elopements and small beach weddings because of it’s incredible natural landscape! From Palm trees to Lava rocks, Makena cove is spectacular and has an incredible year around sunset!

The Perfect Combo! A Kukahiko estate ceremony and Gannon’s reception.

Sarina & Anthony selected the Kukahiko estate for their Maui, destination wedding for its beauty and privacy.  It was important for the couple that their wedding venue be close to the ocean and they loved all of the great photo options that Kukahiko has to offer.  The couple each had 7 member’s in their bridal party, we loved how all the bridesmaids had a slightly different style and color of dress.

After a beautiful ceremony, group and family photos, the guests left The Kukahiko estate for the reception at Gannon’s Lower Lawn.  The guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while Sarina & Anthony relocated to the beach with their photographer and got some amazing sunset shots! 

The Grand Entrance to the reception was very important to the couple, each member of the bridal party was announced to their own song and then the newlywed first dance was a fun custom club mix!  This group was all about having a good time and Teddy at Your Mix Maui made sure that happened!

After an incredible dinner, guests were in for a treat with shaved ice from the adorable  bicycle- styled shaved ice station!  Both delicious and perfect for cooling down during dancing on a hot Hawaiian night!

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Sarina & Anthony’s special day!  We wish them a lifetime of happiness, fun and love!

Love & Beauty at the Olowalu Plantation House

Ania and Ben’s beautiful Olowalu Plantation House wedding looked like it was straight out of a magazine!  The couples stunning good looks and impeccable style paired with Melia Sorenson’s incredible talent of capturing the day has made this wedding album one of our favorites! 

Ania an event planner wanted to research and hire her vendors directly, but knew the importance of having an onsite coordinator to ensure that everything came together and the flow of their special day would be flawless. 

We take the extra steps at A Perfect Paradise Wedding and provide so much more than “a day of coordinator”.  Months prior to the event, we are double checking vendor contracts to reconfirm times and important details.  We follow up again days prior to the event, It’s amazing how many small crises this diffuses!   We meet with all of our clients on site and provide a rehearsal & final site set up meeting.  We ask that all items such as name cards, seating assignments, favors, guest books, etc be given to us at that time.  That gives our staff time to go through the items and see if we have any questions.  The last thing you want on your wedding day is to be bothered with last minute details or concerns! 

We loved working with Ania & Ben and the wonderful group of vendors that the couple put together! 

The flowers by Bella Bloom were gorgeous from the bouquets to the centerpieces!  The full arrangement for the arch and bar garland were absolutely stunning!   The couple selected rustic farm tables and the bamboo folding chairs, accented with sheer table runners, cobalt blue water goblets and tons of rose  gold votives creating an elegant & romantic set up that fit perfectly with the natural charm of the Olowalu Plantation House. 

Three’s Catering gave a 5 star catering experience with both their food & staff, the taco bar was my personal favorite!  Aloha Bars, Maui Wedding Cakes and Chris from Clarity entertainment provided exceptional service as always, helping to complete the wedding dream team! 

Miss B Calligraphy created some of my favorite personalized touches for Ania & Ben’s special day!  A framed glass seating chart with the guest’s names stood beside the bar with the ocean view as the back drop and a personalized welcome sign by the guest book table. 

We were honored and thrilled to be selected by Ania & Ben as their day of coordinators!  The day was absolutely magical from start to finish!
