Not everyone who marries in Hawaii dreams of an outdoor wedding, we actually do a fair amount of Church weddings as well!
One of the most charming of the Churches in Maui is the St. John’s Episcopal Church. Located on the rolling hills of Haleakala in upcountry Kula, St. John’s offers incredible views of the ocean & west Maui mountains and can host up to 100 guest’s. The lush garden grounds make an ideal setting for those wanting an early afternoon ceremony & an outdoor garden reception in the cooler upcountry air.
Briana &
Bradley, highs school sweethearts, were married by Pastor Valentine Rosette in
an intimate ceremony before their closest friends & family. The ceremony was followed by a tented garden
party reception on the beautiful Church grounds.

Maui offers a
wide array of incredible wedding venues, from beaches, resorts, chapels and
private estates, but none hold my heart like the Kukahiko estate in
Makena! It may be sentimental, as I was
married at this gorgeous estate in 2011, but the view leaves me in awe every
time.
Lush green lawn,
just steps away from the Ocean, with incredible views of Molokini &
Kaholawai and a lava rock jetta for amazing post ceremony photos!
The Kukahiko
estate is the perfect setting for groups 40 and under looking for an affordable
& intimate event venue! Whether you
looking to do a simple ceremony package or an elegant dinner under the stars, A
Perfect Paradise Wedding is there to assist you every step of the way! Contact us today to discuss the details of
your special day, we would be happy to provide you with a custom designed
proposal
The beautiful Lower wedding knoll at Gannon’s in Wailea, Maui!
Sylvia & Mark selected the Lower Wedding Knoll at Gannon’s in Wailea for their beautiful Maui wedding! The stunning couple exchanged vows before their closest family & friends in a touching & fun ceremony with Pastor Ernest Pua’a.
The photographer, Rodrigo Moraes, did an amazing job of capturing the day, telling the love story of Sylvia & Mark’s incredible new adventure together!
Sylvia, an
interior designer with incredible style, designed the layout for the dining
tables. Adorned with beautiful grape
wood pieces, eucalyptus seeds,
shells and lots of candles creating a lovely tablescape. It was the perfect fit with the vintage, boho
vibe of the reception site at Gannon’s lower lawn.
I love the lacy detail on our brides beautiful wedding gown! Our handsome groom getting ready for the big moment!
Our groom enjoying the view while waiting for the first look photos!
First look photos with a twist! The bride still wanted the groom’s first look to be when she walked down the aisle!

Here comes the bride!
Beautiful ocean views & the simple bamboo arch are key elements to any Maui wedding!
One of my favorite group Photos!

Thank you Sylvia & Mark for choosing A Perfect Paradise Wedding to be a part of your special day, it was a pleasure!
Originally from Puerto Rico, but currently residing in the windy city, Hector & Javier chose Maui as their ultimate destination venue!
After 24 years as a couple, Hector & Javier wanted to make their union legal and official with the blessing of their family & friends present. The couple fell in love with Gannon’s in Wailea for its pristine, upscale golf course grounds & amazing ocean views! They selected the wedding knoll for the ceremony and then the lower lawn for the reception to follow.
It was important to Hector & Javier to incorporate Hawaiian elements into the ceremony with a Hawaiian Officiate and the Hawaiian processional. The Hawaiian processional provided by our favorite Hawaiian entertainment company, Manuteanuie, consisted of two torch bearers/Hula dancers, drummer & a Hawaiian guitarist. For more details about the Hawaiian processional visit our blog https://aperfectparadisewedding.com/Blog/island-tradition-wedding-package/
The ceremony began with blowing of the conch shell, the torch bearers processed down the wedding path to the beat of the Hawaiian drums. The Hawaiian guitarist/vocalist then played for the entrance of the grooms escorting their Mother’s to their seats in the front row. Leis, Rings, Vows, were exchanged in a moving ceremony and a special Hawaiian wedding song hula was performed for the couple.
After family & group photos, Hector & Javier went with the photographer to the beach for some amazing sunset shots before joining their guests for cocktails & appetizers on the lower lawn. The tables were adorned by lush garlands & tropical flowers with a hint of bling from the gold candles & chargers.
It was such a pleasure to be included in this special wedding & so heartwarming to feel the close bond & love of this group! I wish Hector & Javier a long, life time of happiness!
Alice & Curtis had always dreamed of a wedding in Hawaii and their friends and family, were completely on board with the idea. Curtis’s 95 year old grandpa was actually the first to book his ticket! The couple was blessed with nearly 80 guests flying in from all over the US!
Alice & Curtis were married on a beautiful, October afternoon at The Olowalu Plantation House by a close friend, complete with Hawaiian guitar & the exchanging of personal vows before their loved ones.
Being the fun, loving couple that Alice & Curtis are, their biggest concern was that their guests have a wonderful time! The couple planned yard games and a Giant “Aloha” marque for fun photo opts during cocktail hour to accompany the delicious appetizers from Cafe O’ Lei catering & signature cocktails from Maui Bars Are Us.
After sunset the couple WOWED the guests with a surprise fire knife dancer & a first dance to remember, a choreographed hip hop number that was adorable!
We loved being a part of Alice & Curtis’s special day and couldn’t do it without all of our hard working, amazing vendors!
