Fun & Fabulous Wedding at Gannon’s in Wailea!

Jacob and Rajness, Planning all the way from their home in New Zealand, were looking for the perfect wedding & reception venue on Maui to host their destination wedding.   Gannon’s beautiful Wedding Knoll captured their hearts for the ceremony, with its pristine golf course grounds and ocean views.    The lower lawn at Gannon’s was the ideal setting for the intimate cocktail party and wedding dinner that they envisioned.     

After reading Jacob & Rajnesh’s Wedding web site on the Knot and seeing the wedding attire listed as “Fun & Fabulous”, I knew we were going to love working with this couple and we were right!

Several sample décor set up photos were provided by the groom’s, showing a natural and rustic- elegant style.  From the various photos, we were able to create one of my all time favorite table-scapes.  Using woven chargers, handmade natural twig vases to display a variety of Hawaiian leaves, the end of effect was stunning. 

In Lieu of gifts, Jacob & Rajnesh requested donations s to their favorite charity to protect the black bears.  Each child that attended the event was given a beautiful stuffed black bear!

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Jacob & Rajhness’s special day and wish them the best of things on their journey ahead.

Elegant Elopement

Originally from the Slav nations, now residing in Germany, Olga & Stanley dreamed of an elegant elopement for just the two of them in the tropics. 

The couple fell in love with the beautiful, oceanfront Kukahiko estate, wanting a more intimate and private venue for the exchanging of their wedding vows. 

100% of the wedding planning process was via email due to the time difference between Germany & Maui.  Olga sent sample photos for our floral designer to replicate for her dream arch and we were able to get blush draping for the bamboo arch to recreate her vision.  The end effect was stunning!

Photography was a very important element to Olga & Stanley’s dream wedding and they selected Maui Creative Photography.  We had such a great time after the ceremony playing with various props and balloons to create some amazing images!

Olowalu Plantation House, Maui- Shelby& CJ

High school sweethearts, CJ & Shelby, after nearly 14 years, made it official at The Olowalu Plantation House in Maui!  Firefighter & Nurse, these incredible individuals, joined together to create an amazing couple! 

Frequent vacationers on Maui, the couple fell in love with the feel & style of the Olowalu Plantation House!  A true testament of the love for this couple was in the amazing amount of family & friends that traveled from afar to be a part of their special day!

With a guest list of just under 100, the day started with a slight drizzle & forecast of possible thundershowers.  The couple’s easy going attitude while going over possible back up plans was refreshing!  Shelby & CJ weren’t going to allow a little rain to damper the excitement of marrying the love of their lives and trusted us to help make that happen! 

The day was clear & beautiful, filled with love, laughter & tears! Kristine Herman did an amazing job of capturing the beauty of Shelby & CJ’s amazing wedding & reception and through her creative style you too can experience the Love story of this incredible couple!

The Charming St. John’s Church

Not everyone who marries in Hawaii dreams of an outdoor wedding, we actually do a fair amount of Church weddings as well! 

 One of the most charming of the Churches in Maui is the St. John’s Episcopal Church.   Located on the rolling hills of Haleakala in upcountry Kula, St. John’s offers incredible views of the ocean & west Maui mountains and can host up to 100 guest’s.    The lush garden grounds make an ideal setting for those wanting an early afternoon ceremony & an outdoor garden reception in the cooler upcountry air. 

Briana & Bradley, highs school sweethearts, were married by Pastor Valentine Rosette in an intimate ceremony before their closest friends & family.  The ceremony was followed by a tented garden party reception on the beautiful Church grounds.
